The arrival of Aaron Rodgers in Pittsburgh has sparked a mixed response among Steelers fans. Many are expressing disappointment regarding the veteran quarterback’s one-year, $13.6 million contract.

Fans have raised various concerns, including Rodgers’ age—he’s 41 years old—and doubts about his commitment, particularly in light of his past vaccination stance.

“Honestly, I’m not optimistic at all,” shared Ron Stadler, Jr., a long-time Steelers supporter. “I wish he would just retire. He’s not good anymore.”

One fan took to social media to dramatically share his frustration, filming himself burning his autographed Minka Fitzpatrick jersey and declaring he could no longer support the team. “With Rodgers joining, I just can’t do this anymore,” he lamented.

Defensive lineman Cam Hayward responded to some of the backlash, questioning why a jersey of Fitzpatrick would be burned and why it was done when many people are in need of clothes. He said, “You’re going to regret this!”
