Stefanik Starts 'Save New York' PAC to Support Republicans Before the Midterms

Stefanik Launches PAC to Support Republican Candidates in New York

House Republican leader Ellis Stefanik from New York has initiated a PAC named Save New York. The aim is to bolster Republican candidates across the state and challenge what she describes as the “failed” policies of Governor Kathy Hochul.

The Save New York PAC was officially announced early Wednesday, with plans to begin mobilizing Republicans for the mid-2026 elections starting this November.

Stefanik stated, “Kathy Hochul is America’s worst governor and she leads a failed Democrat. After years under single-party Democrat rule in New York, it’s clearer than ever that we need a strong Republican leader.”

She added, “I am proud of the solid support my political team has garnered over the last decade, thanks to the generosity of New York voters and donors who have helped build our political resources into major fundraising assets aimed at benefiting hardworking New York families.”

Stefanik has held significant roles since her appointment after President Donald Trump’s presidency, chaired by Mike Johnson in April. Although she was previously in the running for a UN ambassador position to help maintain a slim Republican majority, that plan did not materialize.

Upon returning, she has remained active in opposing leftist agendas and focusing on countering what she sees as bias in higher education.

She is currently neck-and-neck with Hochul in polling as they prepare for the impending gubernatorial race, although she has not officially declared her candidacy for governor. Her advisor, Alex Degrasse, mentioned to Breitbart News in May that she would be a strong contender for Hochul’s position if she chooses to run.

A press release from her office highlighted her accomplishments, including becoming the youngest woman elected to Congress at that time and standing as New York’s highest-ranked Republican for over a century.

The initiative is said to be founded on Stefanik’s track record of strategic grassroots organizing and her ability to cultivate a significant network of Republican supporters within the state.

Stefanik has previously raised tens of millions of dollars to aid New York Republicans in past elections. According to reports, Democrats invested more in their efforts against Rep. Elise Stefanik than any other Republican in the state.
