Stefon Diggs’ Accuser Speaks Out
The personal chef involved in an alleged assault case against Stefon Diggs has come forward to share her side of the story.
Mila Adams, in a statement to TMZ, firmly rejected the accusations after the New England Patriots wide receiver pleaded not guilty in court on Friday. She emphasized her seriousness as a victim of domestic violence, insisting she’d never falsely accuse anyone for personal gain or to damage someone’s reputation.
“I have never asked for any financial settlement or engaged in negotiations over this matter. Statements suggesting otherwise are simply false and harmful,” Adams asserted.
She mentioned that her priorities right now are healing and staying focused on her work. “I trust the legal process will reveal the truth,” she added, urging those following the case to do the same.
On the eve of the hearing, Diggs switched attorneys and released a statement through his new lawyer, Mitchell Schuster. The statement disputed the allegations, claiming Diggs is “completely innocent” and expressing confidence that he would be exonerated once the facts are examined.
The charges arose from an incident last December, where Adams confronted Diggs at his home over unpaid wages, which she alleged led to physical aggression.
According to Adams, Diggs allegedly slapped her and attempted to choke her by placing his elbow around her neck.
Diggs is next scheduled for a pretrial hearing on April 1.
This isn’t the first time Diggs has faced legal scrutiny; he was accused of sexual assault by an influencer in November and more recently, he was sued for defamation in Florida shortly before the Patriots’ exit from the Super Bowl.
There’s also speculation regarding his personal life, with rumors suggesting he and his girlfriend, Cardi B, might be experiencing difficulties in their relationship.
