Stefon Diggs had quite the weekend.
The newly recruited wide receiver for the Patriots was all smiles, enjoying himself at my sister’s wedding on Friday, as captured in videos on social media.
Decked out in a sleek black suit and tie, Diggs was seen energetically dancing to “Be Faithful” by Fatman Scoop.
It looked like he was sharing the dance floor with his sister, and I think my sister caught him laughing and really getting into the moment.
There’s no confirmation on whether his girlfriend, Cardi B, was there at the wedding.
Interestingly, the Grammy winner didn’t make an appearance in the viral dance video.
However, Cardi B did attend Diggs’ youth football camp at the University of Maryland the next day, held at Secu Stadium, where he once played.
Diggs, originally from Gaithersburg, had made the decision to forgo his senior season with the Terrapins to enter the 2015 NFL Draft.
His brother, Trevon Diggs, who plays cornerback for the Cowboys, was also present, alongside Texans wide receiver DeMario “Pop” Douglas, Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey, and Super Bowl champion tight end Vernon Davis.
Cardi B was then spotted at the 2025 ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Just last month, Diggs and Cardi B stirred up buzz on social media when they were seen at a boat party in Miami. In one video, they were among a group of women in bikinis, and a four-time Pro Bowler was holding a colorful substance.
Cardi B made their relationship Instagram official around that time with steamy photos and a video of her giving him a lap dance.
Patriot head coach Mike Vlabel acknowledged the boat video, mentioning that he stays in touch with his players regularly.
Diggs, who is 31, signed a significant three-year deal worth up to $69 million back in March.
The All-Pro receiver has been present at the Patriots’ organized team activities after missing out on voluntary training the previous week.
