Stepfather charged after 11-year-old stepdaughter gives birth to his child

A father is facing serious allegations of sexually abusing his 11-year-old stepdaughter after she gave birth in a deplorable home in Oklahoma.

Dustin Walker, 34, and his wife, Cherry Walker, 33, could each face life in prison following the birth of a child on August 16 in Muscogee County. They have six older sons together, officials report.

Despite the couple claiming they were unaware of the girl’s pregnancy, DNA testing has confirmed with 99.9% accuracy that Dustin Walker is indeed the father, as noted by sources.

“This is one of the most disturbing cases of child sexual abuse and neglect I have ever prosecuted,” stated Muscogee County Assistant Janet Hutson.

In addition to the abuse charges, Dustin faces felony child neglect accusations for allowing both his stepdaughter and her five brothers, aged 2 to 9, to live in horrendous conditions, according to court filings.

The report highlighted that the victim lived among dog feces and wasn’t properly clothed, which contributed to the decision to remove the children from their home last Tuesday.

Dustin and Cherry Walker were arrested last week after the birth. Initially charged with felony child neglect, their charges were escalated following the DNA match.

Dustin is being charged with sexually abusing the girl, while his wife is accused of enabling that abuse. Court documents reveal that the neglect charges also refer to a lack of adequate medical care for the 11-year-old during birth.

The girl’s grandmother, who identified herself only as Michelle, indicated that the family was unaware of the situation despite the DNA evidence, insisting that there are alternative theories regarding paternity.

“They turned my daughter and my stepson into a monster,” she stated. “They care for those kids. It’s not that simple.”

Michelle also mentioned that her granddaughter insists her father is a local 12-year-old boy, saying, “She keeps saying it’s him. Everyone is more curious, but that’s all I know.”

Dustin and Cherry each have bonds set at $100,000 and are due to appear in court on September 3, according to Hatson.
