Recently, Stephen A. Smith has been more vocal about his political beliefs, which is somewhat unusual for him, considering he usually keeps politics out of his ESPN content. However, he’s not shy about sharing his opinions through his podcast and other platforms.

Interestingly, Smith suggests that engaging in political discussions may have actually expanded his audience rather than limiting it. When a listener asked if he was concerned about the potential backlash, he confidently responded, “I’m not worried.” He points out that he’s careful to separate politics from his work on ESPN, emphasizing that his approach is rooted in rationality.

Smith elaborated, stating that he aims to present well-researched information, articulating his thoughts from a place of honesty.
