Stephen Colbert sent legal notice by Rose Hanbury over Prince William affair jokes: Report

Late Show host Stephen Colbert has reportedly been served with a legal notice by the lawyer for Rose Hanbury, Duchess of Cholmondeley, who recently joked about having an unsubstantiated affair with Prince William.

“This rumor appears to have recently entered the mainstream media as a result of another joke on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,'” Hanbury’s attorney said. told In Touch Weekly on Thursday. “We have sent letters to CBS and various other reputable media outlets on behalf of our client confirming that this allegation is false.”
