Late Show host Stephen Colbert has reportedly been served with a legal notice by the lawyer for Rose Hanbury, Duchess of Cholmondeley, who recently joked about having an unsubstantiated affair with Prince William.
“This rumor appears to have recently entered the mainstream media as a result of another joke on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,'” Hanbury’s attorney said. told In Touch Weekly on Thursday. “We have sent letters to CBS and various other reputable media outlets on behalf of our client confirming that this allegation is false.”
Representatives for Paramount and Hanbury did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s requests for comment.

After weeks of speculation about her disappearance from public life following abdominal surgery, the Princess of Wales revealed on Friday that she had been diagnosed with cancer.
“I wanted to take this opportunity to personally thank everyone for all the wonderful messages of support and understanding while I was recovering from surgery,” Middleton said in a video recorded Wednesday. Ta.

A Kensington Palace spokesperson told Fox News Digital: “The Princess plans to return to royal duties once cleared by her medical team.” She said: “She is doing well and she is focused on making a full recovery.”
