Stephen Curry, wife Ayesha, welcome fourth child: ‘Our sweet baby boy’

The Curry family currently consists of six members.

Stephen Curry and his wife Ayesha welcomed their fourth child, a son named Kawees, earlier this month.

The couple made the announcement in a joint Instagram post on Sunday night.

“Our beautiful baby boy decided to be born early!! He is doing great and we are finally settled in our home as a family of 6! We are so grateful!” they wrote.

The only photo posted was of an adult’s hand holding the baby’s left hand.

Their first daughter, Riley, was born in 2012, followed three years later by their second daughter, Ryan, and in 2018, their first son, Cannon, was born.

Stephen and Ayesha, a guard for the Golden State Warriors, have known each other since they were teenagers and married in 2011. The couple met at church while growing up in Charlotte, North Carolina, when Stephen’s father, Del, was playing for the Hornets.

Their newest baby boy was born the day before Mother’s Day, but they kept Caius a secret at the time.

Stephen posted a photo of Ayesha and his three older children on Mother’s Day.

“Happy Mother’s Day to the mom of my children!” I wrote at the time“You brighten your children’s day every day and give them the support, encouragement and confidence to be their best selves. I am always grateful to be on this parenting journey with you. Keep that motherly love. We love you!”

Curry’s Warriors missed the playoffs this season after losing in the play-in tournament, but the team is set to win the NBA title in 2022, which would be Curry’s fourth title.
