Speaking on Tim Poole’s podcast, Timcast IRL, Blaze Media journalist Steve Baker said: talked Regarding the imminent threat that he would be indicted in connection with his journalistic work covering the events at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Baker told the story of his strange story and the limbo he is currently in as he waits to know when he will have to turn himself in to authorities.
Last month, as Blaze News previously reported, Baker learned she had to turn herself in, but that was later postponed.
Baker said on Timcast that his lead attorney informed him that his surrender would be postponed until mid-January and that Baker would be given seven to 10 days’ notice before he was required to appear. Baker’s attorney asked for the charges, but did not receive a response.
But even though it’s almost the end of January, Baker told Poole he hasn’t heard anything new yet.
Mr Baker said his work with Blaze Media was the “main reason” he was not yet in prison.
