Sporting director Jonathan Walters said on the club's official website: “Narcisse is a talented coach with huge potential, a tireless worker and I have no doubt that he will be successful in the future. ” he said.
“However, given the results and performances of the last few weeks, I have to accept with hindsight that he has proven to be unsuitable for this club at the moment. I take full responsibility for that and will continue to I am confident that we will make the right choices moving forward. Every decision we make will be driven by our love for Stoke City and our absolute determination to bring success to the club.”
