Stonehenge vandalized by environmental extremists

One of the world’s most iconic prehistoric sites is now covered in orange paint, the work of two members of a radical environmental group notorious for destroying valuable property and bringing traffic on a busy thoroughfare to a grinding halt.

At around midday on Wednesday, Rajan Naidu, 73, and Niamh Lynch, 21, of Just Stop Oil, appear to have broken into the Stonehenge grounds in Wiltshire, England, and begun spraying the stone structure with orange powder paint. Other people nearby noticed the two vandals and tried to stop them, but to little avail. Video of the incident can be watched below. here.

Alleged co-conspirator Lynch claimed she and others associated with Just Stop Oil were trying to protect the “legacy” of their generation. “It’s time to think about what legacy our civilization leaves behind,” she said.
