Kylie Jenner’s daughter seems to have channeled her mom’s iconic “King Kylie” era with a recent look.
In a Polaroid shared on Instagram on Thursday, Stormi Webster, who is 7, sported a pink-orange wig with a middle part. Meanwhile, Kylie, 28, posted a nostalgic photo of herself wearing a similar vibrant hairstyle.
This comes just a week after Kylie featured Stormi in a promotional video for Kylie Cosmetics, showcasing their mother-daughter bond.
In the video from August 22, the pair were seen at Urta’s beauty, with Kylie reassuring Stormi, “Don’t cry, Barbie. If you keep crying, you won’t get anything you want.”
Stormi responded playfully by lip-syncing, “OK, thank you. Get a Mercedes,” while holding one of Kylie’s shiny lip kits. It’s both amusing and endearing to see their dynamic.
Kylie and Travis Scott welcomed Stormi in February 2018, and then Aire in February 2022, before parting ways in January 2023.
Stormi often accompanies her mother, who is known for her stylish appearances, and she has sometimes playfully critiqued Kylie’s past looks. In June, they even had a light-hearted exchange on TikTok about Stormi’s blue wig, with Stormi teasing, “Did you dye your hair with that photo?” to which Kylie clarified it was just a wig.
In another playful moment, Stormi remarked about Kylie’s outfit choices, saying, “A blue wig in a red outfit? That’s not a good combo!” Kylie couldn’t help but laugh, responding, “I know. That’s not good.”
Kylie has reflected on her “King Kylie” days, mentioning in an October interview that those experiences are still part of who she is today. She acknowledged how she might not embrace every trend from her past but appreciates the influence it had on her journey.
