The Writers Guild of America (WGA) union is urging the public to donate to striking writers, while spending thousands of dollars on lavish meals and trips to Europe, and even donating to Democrats. It is said that there is. new york post.


The union spent $25,634 on a sushi restaurant, $5,806 on a five-star hotel in Paris for executives, $6,600 on photo shoots and paid executives more than $1 million in salaries, according to the report.

The union’s largest political donations went to Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pennsylvania) and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.).

From 2021 to 2023, it provided $107,000 to Democratic campaigns and committees.
