As left-wing Trump hysteria continues, mark levin The craze all started back in 2016, when Donald Trump ran against Hillary Clinton and lost.
The day after his victory, some liberal universities canceled classes and created “safe spaces” for students apparently traumatized by President Trump's election. One of those universities was the University of California, Los Angeles.
Levin recently played a TikTok video of a pro-Trump student who began opening up about his experience as a student at UCLA in 2016.
“All of my professors, you know, gave students a safe space and time off from school if they wanted to heal and ‘mourn the loss of their homeland,’” Avery recalled. “This lasted from week five to week seven.”
When one of her teaching assistants' discussion-led groups finally resumed, all the students and TAs wanted to do was continue wallowing in their misery.
“I didn't say anything. I just sat there. I listened. I was respectful. When I was silent, the TA said, ' Avery, I haven’t heard from you.’ How are you coping? And I said, “Well, I'm doing fine.” I voted for Trump, and I think this year is going to be a great four years, and I'm here to learn. I'm not here to talk politics. This is not a poly science lesson,” she said in the video.
As a result of these words, Avery was “kicked out of class” and told to “leave class and not return for the rest of the quarter.”
“Because I voted for Donald Trump, I was, quote unquote, a ‘threat to the safety of my fellow students,’” she says. “I didn't say anything, I didn't do anything. I literally just told him I voted for him because he asked me to.”
“These people have to stop. We can't stay silent anymore. I started posting on TikTok three weeks ago. So if you've got fire in your belly, good luck. Whatever. They will hate you,” she added.
“What should happen here is, number one, a good lawyer should sue someone who has a California license – which is a clear violation of First Amendment rights – and They should sue the university and sue the person who taught that class,'' Levin said.
