A 48-year-old man was slashed in the neck early Monday morning in the latest violent incident on a Big Apple subway.
According to the NYPD, a strap hanger was severed during an altercation on the northbound C train platform at 50th Street and 8th Avenue around 1:21 a.m.
Police said the man was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
Photos showed police arresting the suspect, whose sneakers were splattered with blood, near 59th Street and Columbus Circle. Police say charges are pending.

The arrests came a day after Guardian Angels announced they would return to patrolling the Big Apple's subway cars following the brutal murder of a woman who was set on fire while sleeping on a Coney Island train last week.
