Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, on Monday concluded that the moon and sun are “predominantly made up of gas” and claimed it would be “nearly” impossible to get close to them. It’s been criticized. Sun.
“You’ve probably heard of the term full moon. Sometimes you have to go outside to see a full moon and take the opportunity to see a perfect round circle made up mostly of gas. ,” Jackson Lee asserted during a recent appearance at Booker T. Washington High School in Houston.
“So the question is, why or how could we humans live on the moon? Is there a gas that could do that?” she asked her students before switching gears to the sun. I did.
“The sun is a very powerful source of heat,” she said, telling her students, “It’s almost impossible to get close to the sun.”
“The moon is easier to work with. And in a few years, NASA will be returning to the moon,” she said, offering other surprising facts ahead of the eclipse.
I don’t think we’ve been to the moon in the last 50 years. So we end up landing on the moon. What you will see today will be the closest the Moon has come in the last 20 years. In other words, as the moon approaches the earth, light is blocked.
Jackson Lee added, “I want to be the leading expert on how to live on the moon and be able to survive.”
