Suni Lee Discusses Dating Life on Podcast

Suni Lee, the two-time Olympic gold medalist, recently joined the HAHA Podcast where she opened up about her dating experiences and the influx of messages she’s been receiving from men.

“It’s kind of amusing,” she shared. “Sometimes I can’t tell if they’re joking or being serious, but it really is funny. I’ve watched a lot of videos, so if you think I haven’t, you’re mistaken,” Lee remarked.

When the conversation steered towards her preferences in partners, she quickly stated, “athlete.” There were some rumors about her dating NBA player OG Anunoby after they were seen together at a game, but she clarified that they are just friends.

Lee also emphasizes that she isn’t looking for immature individuals. “I appreciate men who are emotionally intelligent because many of the guys I’ve interacted with have often left me feeling quite childish. It’s surprising to me—you’re older, yet I feel like I’m the mature one, and I’m just 22,” she expressed.

Adding to her criteria, she mentioned, “I like people who can make me laugh and show consideration for others, not just me. If you only look out for me when we’re alone, that would upset me. I want you to take care of both me and my friends,” she emphasized.

Lee noted that the most significant age difference she’s comfortable with is five years.

Having achieved remarkable success, Lee earned gold medals at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 and the team event at the Paris Olympics last year. Alongside her accolades, she also secured one silver and three bronze medals, including two from the Paris Games.
