Co-host Joy Behar said she was confident that President Biden would defeat President Trump in the 2024 election. Hostin seemed to agree, saying, “He would do that.”
During a recent campaign event, a voter asked Haley what she believed were the “causes” of the war.

“I think the cause of the Civil War was basically the way the government was run – freedom and what people could and couldn't do,” she said at the event.
“So I think it all comes back to the role of government,” she added. “We need to have capitalism. We need to have economic freedom. We need to make sure that things are done.'' We want to stay out of the government's way. ”
Responding to criticism of her response, Haley said: “The first thing I should have said was slavery.”
“I totally agree with that. When you grow up in the South, slavery is a given. Like when you think about the Civil War, it was about slavery. It was never an issue. No,” she continued.
