Sunny Hostin’s daughter celebrates Fieldston graduation with anti-Israel message

The attractive daughter of “The View” host Sunny Hostin celebrated her graduation from a private New York City high school that costs $63,000 a year with a snide anti-Israel message, then mocked her classmates.

“Now that we have our diplomas, Palestine will be free from the river to the sea,” Paloma Hostin wrote in a Snapchat post. Shared by StopAntisemitism on X.

“And to all the motherfuckers that screenshotted my stories and showed them to their parents and tried to get me suspended or expelled, look at me now,” she continued.

The offensive message was posted above a selfie of the 18-year-old, a graduate of the exclusive Fieldston School of Ethical Culture in the Bronx, pursing her lips.

The slogan “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” has been classified by the Anti-Defamation League as anti-Semitic, calling for the “dismantling of the Jewish state,” a slogan that has been frequently repeated at anti-Israel protests at universities across the country since the Oct. 7 massacre.

The Ethical Culture Fieldston School, part of the elite Bronx Hill Schools, has just found itself embroiled in fresh anti-Israel controversy last week after a student scrawled the words “Free Palestine!” on the school’s front entrance.

The girl later published a follow-up post on her Instagram account (now set to private) in which she retracted her earlier statements and attempted to present a more neutral stance. Wire image

Hostin, who is currently attending Cornell University, attempted to walk back the offensive post in a follow-up post on her now-private Instagram account on Friday afternoon.

“I woke up with a heavy heart to the humanitarian catastrophe in the Middle East. Both sides have endured unimaginable loss and suffering. Today my prayers are with all affected by these tragedies,” she wrote in the caption beneath an image of a peace sign against a colorful background.

Meanwhile, her TV presenter mother has not shied away from voicing her anti-Israel views on “The View.” He grilled Bill Maher earlier this month. About “innocent civilians who are collectively punished and killed” in war.

Her sister, Hostin, 55, gained public attention in April when she blamed WNBA superstar Kaitlyn Clark’s popularity on “white privilege” and “beauty privilege,” and drew attention again in early May when she baselessly claimed a solar eclipse was the result of climate change.

Liora Rez, founder and executive director of StopAntisemitism, told The Washington Post that the group “verified the authenticity of Paloma Hostin’s Snapchat post from parent sources.”

“After seeing this, I wouldn’t be surprised if another anti-Semitic incident were to occur at Cornell and her name was brought up. [post] And her joy [posting] “That’s it,” she said.

A representative for Sunny Hostin did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

A Fieldston spokesman declined to comment.
