If they win the 2024 Super Bowl on Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs will win their third NFL championship in five seasons.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce will also be given the new title of “Dynastic Duo.”
Mahomes and Kelce will have to play big roles if the Chiefs are to pull off a small upset against the San Francisco 49ers (-2.5, FanDuel).
With kickoff just hours away, we asked betting experts Sean Trepedi and Tanner McGrath to share their favorite bets for the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIII.
Mahomes and Kelce are worthy representatives for Sunday’s big game.
Travis Kelce Anytime Touchdown (+105, FanDuel)
Travis Kelsey’s props are getting a lot of attention at this year’s Super Bowl thanks to his publicized romance with Taylor Swift. I like this one the most.
Kelce has scored in two of the past three Super Bowls, and the Chiefs have won both games in which he scored in the end zone. He also caught 81 percent of his targets in the Super Bowl.
This postseason, Kelce found paydirt three times, twice in three games.
This postseason, Kelce found paydirt three times, twice in three games.
As mentioned here, Kelce is worth targeting in the prop market who can touch down at any time.
Another notable Kelsey prop is a first-time touchdown scorer (+750, FanDuel). He has scored game-first touchdowns in three of the Chiefs’ last six postseason games, including the AFC Championship Game against Baltimore two weeks ago. – Trepedie
Isaiah Pacheco, 66.5 rushing yards over (-114, Bet Rivers)
The Chiefs have historically performed well under Mahomes, but they have shown a desire to beat teams at home in the playoffs.
Pacheco is averaging 21 carries for 84.67 yards per game in the postseason and has 66.5 rushing yards in each of Kansas City’s three games.
As mentioned in this article, Rutgers’ production has exceeded that number in five of the past six games and seven of the past 10 games.
Ready to start betting on the 2024 Super Bowl?
In the 2024 Super Bowl, Pacheco will face the same 49ers defense that was crushed by the Packers and Lions in the playoffs.
Aaron Jones rushed for 108 yards in the divisional round, Detroit’s David Montgomery added 93 yards and Jahmil Gibbs 45 yards.
Pacheco can easily clear this number since there is no competition for carries. – McGrath
Marquez Valdez – Scanling Over 1.5 Receptions (-120, BetMGM)
MVS showed he can be open deep.
He’ll never break the box score, but he has catches for 32 yards in each of the Chiefs’ last two postseason games.
In the AFC Championship game, his long grab sealed the victory, and in the divisional round, his catch helped pave the way for a touchdown.
Additionally, Valdes-Scantling has made exactly two catches in each of the past two games.
Patrick Mahomes could test San Francisco’s secondary early, and I like the possibility of the streaky receiver recording more than 1.5 catches. – Trepedie
