Denver Broncos Super Bowl champion Chris Harris Jr. announced on Saturday that the team had agreed to trade wide receiver Jerry Jeudy to the Cleveland Browns for quarterback Russell Wilson. took a shot.
Harris was on Denver’s Super Bowl L team, which defeated Cam Newton’s Carolina Panthers. The four-time Pro Bowl cornerback played nine seasons with the Broncos.

Harris alluded to the Broncos’ offense’s struggles last season, writing in an X post, “Everyone thinks it’s really Judy trash lol. It’s hard to play when your QB misses you every week.”
As Denver began to struggle, rumors abounded regarding the 2023 season. Wilson had been accused of ignoring Jeudy during the match. Through December, Jeudy had been targeted only 57 times, while Cortland Sutton had been targeted 75 times. Jeudy finished the season with 87 targets, while Sutton had 90 targets.

The Broncos had a busy week to start the offseason. Denver announced it would give Wilson a contract extension after just two seasons after the team acquired him from the Seattle Seahawks.
Denver also agreed to trade Jeudy to the Browns for multiple draft picks, according to multiple reports. The deal will not be finalized until Wednesday, when the new league year begins.

Jeudy had 54 catches for 758 yards and two touchdowns last season. Wilson had 3,070 passing yards and 26 touchdowns. In 2023, he played in all but two games.
