Former NFL wide receiver and kick return specialist Jacoby Jones has passed away at the age of 40.
of The Baltimore Sun The NFL reported Jones died Sunday, citing a person with direct knowledge of the situation.
Jones spent his final three NFL seasons with the Baltimore Ravens but will be remembered for his performance in Super Bowl XLVII.

Jones caught a 56-yard touchdown pass during the game and then returned a kickoff 108 yards early in the second half to help the Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers 34-31.
Further details about Jones’ death have not yet been released.

The Houston Texans drafted Jones in the third round in 2007. In addition to his stints with the Texans and Ravens, Jones also played for the Steelers and Chargers.
