The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Arizona Cardinals 21-20 on Sunday, finishing the season with 9 wins and 8 losses, narrowly missing out on the postseason and ending the 2023 season.
Seahawks players were seen smoking cigars in the locker room after the game. Seattle defensive back Tarik Uhlen wrote on his Instagram Story that some of his team members are celebrating Julian Love's Pro Bowl appearance and the birth of his child.

Former Seahawks punter John Ryan lamented the celebration at the X.
“I think the Seahawks are doing things a little differently these days,” he wrote. “I could say a lot of things right now because I'm shaking with anger, but I'll just say I'm really disappointed.”
Mr Ryan, who has begun to be criticized for his views, said he understood the reason for the celebration but there was a “time and place” for it.

“I'm just disappointed because I didn't get any shots. That wouldn't have been acceptable in my day, that's all,” he added.
FOX 13 Seattle's Ian Furness added that not everyone in the locker room was in on the celebration.
“This will be much debated,” Furness wrote in X. “I would just like to add that not everyone in the locker room was happy about the postseason 'celebration' and cigar smoke of not making the postseason. Everyone is going to be unhappy.” 'But I know there are many veterans who share John's opinion. ”
Ryan played for the Seahawks and Green Bay Packers throughout his career from 2006 to 2017, spending most of his time in Seattle.
