Two-time Super Bowl champion Damian Woody doesn’t want to hear your complaints about the NFL’s focus on Taylor Swift.
He accepted what he could see from miles away.
After the AFC Championship Game win over the Baltimore Ravens, Swift was spotted kissing Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce on the field, and Woody shared his thoughts on the matter Monday with X magazine. Posted on.

“All I have to say is the amount of…” [people], especially men, complaining about Taylor Swift and the NFL coverage is insane. You’re talking about a global superstar and America’s biggest sports brand. What the hell did I expect to happen?” Woody tweeted with a final laugh.
Of course, NFL fans jumped on Woody’s comments to voice their opinions, and he also had time to respond to a few things. One fan said the problem is that Swift is always visible during Chiefs broadcasts every time Kelce does something on the field, adding that it takes away from the show’s appeal.
“The ratings say otherwise,” Woody said with a shrug emoji.
NFL fans yell at Taylor Swift as she enters Ravens Stadium to watch the Chiefs, saying, “You guys are ruining football.”
And, to Woody’s point, one fan said his daughters were asking “1,000 football questions” because they sat through the game to watch Swift on TV.
“Believe me… there are many families who have gone through what you describe.”
That can’t be denied. With Swift appearing at the Chiefs game since his relationship with Kelce became public, the NFL is tapping into a demographic it didn’t have in past seasons.

It is now unusual for Swift not to be at a game, and her fans are reaching out to support her Kelce every Sunday.
Woody is known to be a fan of Swift, and when he attended a concert with his daughter in September, he described her on stage as “amazing.”
Swift will be on stage the Saturday before Super Bowl LVIII, as she is scheduled to perform in Tokyo. But many are predicting that she’ll be on a plane to Las Vegas shortly afterward to watch Kelce and the Chiefs play the San Francisco 49ers.
If that happens, Swift will definitely appear on the CBS broadcast, but Woody doesn’t even think it’s as bad as some viewers think.

“Dude, they’re literally showing her for probably a minute the entire game. I think you’ll survive,” he told another soccer fan in the comments.
