Denver Broncos star quarterback Russell Wilson He compared himself to Joseph and made an insane comparison because he is raising his wife Ciara’s child in the same way Joseph raised Jesus with Mary.
Wilson made the comparison while speaking with former teammate and fellow superstar Brandon Marshall on an episode of Marshall’s podcast, “I Am Athlete,” released Sunday.
Wilson revealed the moment he found out he would be helping raise Ciara’s son, Future Zaheer, with megastar rapper Future.
“I walked into the room and little Future, who was nine months old or something at the time, crawled into my lap, like he knew this was going to be my responsibility,” he said. told Marshall.
“God…I remember when I left home that night, God said to me, “It’s your responsibility to raise this child.” And I realized that… I prayed, ‘Is this really what you want me to do?’ [And Him] “Son, this is yours,” Wilson added.
“What about your first night?” Marshall asked. “Yes, the first night,” Wilson replied.
“Oh yeah, what I’m afraid of is… not so much fear, but more of an opportunity. It’s okay, God, this is what you want me to do, you know. To raise C’s child. Intervene[iara] And this and that, and then I realized…Okay, God, I know she’s the best fit for me, but I’m also going to take this responsibility,” Wilson continued.

I was ready, you know, I love kids, I love kids and other I love everything, but I understood that…just like humans, to help raise children and understand everything else…Okay, God, you gave me this opportunity.
