Survey Indicates Trump Has His 'Best Approval' Ratings So Far

Trump’s Approval Ratings Show Significant Improvement

Recent polls indicate that voters are growing more favorable toward President Donald Trump as his second term progresses.

According to a Daily Mail/JL Partners survey, Trump’s approval rating stands at 55%. This data was shared on Thursday and marks a six-point rise since a similar poll from July.

“This is the highest approval rating ever recorded for Donald Trump,” stated James Johnson, co-founder of JL Partners. The poll was conducted among 867 registered voters between August 21 and September 1, with a margin of error of 3.3%.

Johnson remarked, “While this might be unexpected, the recent news cycle has played in favor of the president. Issues like the crime rate in Washington, D.C., have resonated positively, alongside encouraging economic reports.”

A Harvard Harris poll from June highlighted Trump’s notable approval on immigration matters. The findings showcased a list of important issues, revealing that Trump has a 44% approval rating concerning the economy, which outperforms the 37% approval that former President Joe Biden had in January.

Moreover, Trump’s stance on deporting illegal immigrants who commit crimes enjoys substantial backing—80% of voters support the policy. This includes 88% of Republicans, 80% of independents, and 72% of Democrats.

In August, Trump achieved a record approval rating in a poll conducted by the Associated Press (AP).

A recent article on the White House website highlighted that Trump’s agenda has yielded historic results with impressive speed. It noted achievements in areas like tariff revenue, border security, and revitalization efforts in the nation’s capital.

Furthermore, a poll revealed that Vice President JD Vance, who won against Gavin Newsom (D-CA) in several hypothetical presidential matchups, is gaining attention. This came after Trump suggested that potential leaders of the “Maga” movement could be influential in the future.
