Survivors Struggle for Survival Following Large Stabbing at German Train Station

Stabbing Incident at Hamburg Central Station

Twelve individuals sustained injuries in a stabbing incident at Hamburg Central Station, with three reported to be in “fatal danger.”

Update 2100 – Four are in critical condition

Graphic images from the scene show the serious nature of the attack. Reports indicate that out of the injured, four are in severe condition, six are seriously hurt, and seven others have minor wounds.

A 39-year-old woman has been detained as the suspect, but specific details about her identity have not been released yet.

The attack appears to have been indiscriminate, targeting commuters on the busy platform during the evening rush hour.

A significant number of stab wounds were reported at the Hamburg station on Friday night. The suspect remains in custody, and her identity is still unknown. Reports confirm that at least 12 people were injured, with three in critical positions, fighting for their lives. The area between tracks 13 and 14 was reportedly covered in blood.

According to reports, six of the victims only experienced minor injuries.

Local broadcasting station NDR described the incident as an “isolated case” while labeling it a major event. Witnesses told the Hamburger Abendblatt that emergency workers attended to the injured both on the trains and on the platforms, prompting the deployment of specialized emergency buses.

Hamburg police mentioned in a brief statement that the suspect was apprehended at the station.

This incident marks the second mass stabbing in Germany within a few days. Earlier reports pointed to a potential terrorist attack in Bielefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia, where troubling literature was found at the home of a suspect who also wielded spears and gas bottles during the attack.

This story is still unfolding, and more updates are expected.
