German police arrested the suspect after leaving a serious wounded on Friday evening local time after a stab wound at the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin.
Police have yet to motivate them, and have no connection with the stab wounds and the Holocaust Memorial.
The stab wound also came two days before the German national election on Sunday.

The victim, whose injuries are not life-threatening, was identified as a 30-year-old Spanish tourist, according to the Associated Press.
“Our troops are detaining suspects near the crime scene,” Berlin police posted to X. “The investigation continues.”

During a press conference, police spokesman Florian Nass said the attack was “probably with a knife. Maybe with something else” around 6pm.
The suspect was arrested about three hours later after being seen near the memorial.
“He had blood on his hands, so this made him very suspicious,” Nass said.

In the update, police said X that a wide area around the crime scene has been searched “for clues by additional emergency services, police dogs and police helicopters.”
