Suspect assaults Seattle moviegoers with handgun, threatens to ‘shoot everyone’

A Seattle man was arrested Friday after he allegedly attacked two moviegoers with a gun inside a theater and threatened to “shoot everyone,” causing panicked spectators to flee, authorities said.

The evacuation of the cinema occurred at the Regal Thornton Place just before 10pm on Friday when the 30-year-old suspect became enraged after moviegoers walked past his row of seats twice. FOX13 Seattle The report cited a statement from the Seattle Police Department.

After moviegoers passed by for the second time, the suspect yelled that he had a handgun, pulled out the gun and struck one of the victims with it, police said.

When other theatergoers tried to grab the gun from the suspect, shots flew, causing theatergoers to panic and flee the theater, police said.
