Robbery at Massachusetts Mansion

Authorities in Massachusetts are on the lookout for an armed suspect linked to a complex robbery involving a $20 million mansion, during which a housekeeper was tied up.

The incident took place at approximately 8:50 a.m. on Saturday after a neighbor alerted the police about a home invasion at a sprawling 27,000-square-foot estate in Beverly.

Investigators report that the suspect assaulted the housekeeper, the only person present at the time, and then took several items before leaving.

Homeowner Thomas Swan III expressed his outrage to local news, saying, “What they did to my housekeeper was really horrible.” He detailed how she was held at gunpoint and left tied up in the garage. The trauma inflicted on her was severe, highlighting her vulnerability during the incident.

The housekeeper managed to escape after the robbers left and sought help from a nearby neighbor. Emergency responders took her to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, and she has since been released.

It has been reported that the robbers drove off in a Porsche stolen from the mansion, but police later found it abandoned several miles away in Lynn.

Swan chose not to disclose exactly what was taken but suggested the robbers had specific targets in mind, stating, “They knew what they wanted.”

He expressed confidence that authorities would bring the culprits to justice, though the ordeal has understandably left him and others shaken.

The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement has yet to provide a description of the suspect.
