A man who fled police custody while handcuffed outside a Philadelphia-area hospital earlier this week has been arrested in western Pennsylvania, authorities said.

Aleem Bohdan, 29, was taken into custody at 2 p.m. Thursday at his home in Johnstown, Cambria County, more than 320 miles from Temple University Episcopal Hospital in Kensington, where he initially fled from police, Deputy U.S. Marshal Ryan Clark said. Announced.

Bodin is being held in the county jail, and authorities plan to extradite him to Philadelphia.

He is also suspected of stealing a car while fleeing.

Philadelphia police said Bourdain was last seen on Monday, when he was released from police custody.

Authorities said Bodin was found at an address in northwest Philadelphia that Bodin was known to frequent. He was found there the next day, but escaped capture again by jumping off a 30-foot-high embankment onto railroad tracks.

Bodin, who has a “previous criminal history” in Cambria County, was arrested early Sunday morning after the owner of the car, which had been reported stolen on Thursday, was found asleep while delivering food. .
