The assassination attempt at former President Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday highlights the security measures in place for attendees, according to Fox News sources.
All media and public attendees will go through a rigorous screening process run by the Secret Service, which includes detailed screening of everyone entering the rally venue.
Journalists are screened in separate queues from the general public and are often asked to remove all electronic devices and metal objects, just as they would at an airport.

The Secret Service asks Transportation Security Administration agents from nearby towns to help with screening when necessary, but it is unclear whether that was the case at Trump’s rally on Saturday.
When rallies are held outdoors, like Saturday’s, the Secret Service still sets up tents, tables and magnetometers, which are common at large events.
As a former president, Trump still has a significant Secret Service presence, and anyone who meets with or is in close proximity to the president must get clearance, traditionally based on Social Security number, date of birth and other key information.

“The suspect fired multiple shots at the stage from an elevated position outside the rally venue,” the Secret Service confirmed in a statement after the shooting. It’s unclear at this point when the shooter was spotted or how he was able to get within view of President Trump unhindered.
Trump The truth of society Just hours after the shooting, he praised the Secret Service for protecting him.

“I can’t believe something like this happened in our country. We still don’t know anything about the perpetrator. He is deceased. I was shot above my right ear.
