It’s the Night of the Living Dead among Democrats in the halls of the Capitol.
Let’s start with footage of Senator Diane Feinstein of California being driven into the Capitol on Wednesday. The photos and videos were pathetic and horrific. Even the Democratic media were taken aback and began accusing the old Californian woman of saying, “It’s time to go.”
It’s amazing that the Democrats have let the country’s impending default fate fall on the shoulders of this one incoherent member of Congress.
Feinstein had been out of work for two and a half months because of persistent shingles. Seeing her so hurt and debilitated, no sane person would say she is ready to go back to her grueling schedule of enacting legislation and raising the debt ceiling.
Feinstein is the epitome of elder abuse by Senate Democrats, and they need her to win key votes for some fearsome judicial candidates.
Feinstein isn’t like Senator Strom Thurmond, who, at age 97, still does push-ups and boasts a sharp edge. Since that day in September 2018, when she nailed Senator Lisa Murkowski for the first time in her quarter-century, Feinstein’s life has moved on at a rapid pace. She bullied her against the walls of the Capitol over the nomination of Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Mr. Feinstein is still a veteran, not Rep. Don Young, who was driven to the House floor in the final year of his term. But even at 89, Young at least had a wits about himself.
Unfortunately, he had the same “I am irreplaceable” ego problem as Feinstein, and when he died at work on March 18, 2022, he was left with anxieties. Left Alaska and welcomed an accurate voting Democrat into Congress. The opposite of what would have happened had Young not stooped.
Young’s liberal achievements should warn lawmakers to heed the wise words of Kenny Rogers songwriter Don Schlitz: “You should know when to fold.”
Feinstein turns 90 next month. With her short-term memory loss and ruthless attack from the shingles virus, she barely clings to her powers, the elixir of life.
Although he doesn’t plan to run again in 2024, the jury is still out on whether Feinstan can make it through to the end of his term or choose Don Young’s path. We have to ask California. Is this the best a state of 40 million people can do?
And then there is Senator John Fetterman, who left a lasting impression. Unlike California corpses, Fetterman Wearing shorts, tennis shoes, and a black hoodie with a hood over a warped skull, he trudged onto the Senate floor looking like a grim reaper in every way.
It’s unclear why Mr. Fetterman is allowed to violate Senate courtesy and appear in gym clothes, but with Democrats in power, Pennsylvania senators somehow get a few votes on record. are doing.Although not many, from February through May he said that freshman senators Missed Out of 119 roll call votes, 67 votes exceeded 60%. The lifetime average for senators is 2.3%.
Fetterman didn’t disappear for two and a half months like Feinstein, but he was hospitalized for six weeks with clinical depression and is acting like he’s been heavily sedated with psychotropic drugs. She has difficulty communicating and suffers from severe hearing loss as a result of a near-death stroke during her Senate campaign. By all appearances, he is a severely disabled senator, physically, mentally and emotionally.
When Mr. Fetterman attended committee meetings, his aides typed prepared remarks into an iPad in 150-point type, one or two words per line for Mr. Fetterman to read. Is this the best thing Pennsylvania can do?
And then there’s Zombie Supreme Commander Joe Biden. At 80, he’s cognitively marginally better than Feinstein and physically only marginally better than Fetterman. One fall on the stairs of his Air Force One could put this president in a wheelchair, a sling, or worse.
Being the leader of the free world is hard work, and Mr. Biden will turn 81 this November. Only magical thoughts can make him believe he can become more capable.
Who on earth is managing the budget catastrophe on the show? The Walking Dead Democrats are on the rise, and they’re trying to push the nation’s debt past the $31.4 trillion cap to spend even more and turn the debt into zombies.
It’s unkind to slap a dead horse about Feinstein’s vulnerability, Fetterman’s head fog, and Biden’s dementia, but we know it when we see zombies and America deserves better We all know that.
