Sydney Sweeney Steals the Show at Stagecoach
Sydney Sweeney definitely made a splash at Stagecoach this past weekend. The 28-year-old actress, known for her role in “Euphoria,” captivated attendees at her SYRN pop-up saloon in Indio, California. It wasn’t just her, though; familiar faces like Riley Greene, Chase Rice, Diplo, Ashton Kutcher, and Mila Kunis were also there, joining in on an unexpected karaoke night.
In a few clips shared on SYRN’s Instagram, Sweeney showcased her vocal talents in a light blue corset and white miniskirt. She kicked off the night by welcoming Chase Rice, and together, they sang Rice’s popular track “Cruise.”
Later, she took to the mic once again, this time to perform NSYNC’s classic “Bye Bye Bye,” with none other than Lance Bass.
As a nod to Garth Brooks, Sweeney sang “Friends in Low Places” alongside Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, and her boyfriend, Scooter Braun, on Friday night. She repeated the performance with Riley Greene, but unfortunately, that set got cut short due to an unexpected emergency evacuation.
Festival-goers had to leave the venue on Saturday night because of high winds. The Stagecoach app sent out a warning around 7:45 p.m., urging guests to head to their vehicles or safe areas due to the weather conditions.
Interestingly, Marshmello had just started his DJ set in the honky-tonk tent when the evacuation order came. Outside, a growing crowd awaited Journey’s performance, but the weather disrupted the night. Even after the evacuation was lifted two hours later, neither Greene nor Journey could take the stage.
When the evacuation ended, Laney Wilson made her way back to the stage alongside Greene and Little Big Town. She acknowledged the eager crowd, stating, “I know how excited you all were to see Riley Green tonight, so I think we need to do a song.” With that, Green performed his heartfelt hit “I Wish Grandpas Won’t Die,” much to the delight of the audience.
