Sydney Sweeney faces legal trouble for her Hollywood sign bra act

Legal Issues May Arise from Sidney Sweeney’s Hollywood Stunt

Concerns about potential legal repercussions are surfacing following Sidney Sweeney’s recent lingerie promotional stunt at the iconic Hollywood sign.

In a video, Sweeney is seen making her way up a mountain in Los Angeles after dark, ultimately climbing over the ‘H’ in Hollywood while carrying several bras.

The production crew documented her ascent, with sources indicating that the whole thing was a promotional effort for her lingerie brand.

However, this could lead to charges related to trespassing and property damage, according to reports.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which holds the rights to the sign, stated that the stunt was not approved and they had no prior knowledge of it.

Steve Nissen, the Chamber’s President and CEO, emphasized in a statement that anyone looking to use or access the Hollywood Sign for commercial purposes must obtain permission from them.

He further noted that no licenses or permissions were granted for Sweeney’s project, and nobody involved sought their approval.

As of Tuesday morning, the Los Angeles Police Department had not opened a report regarding the incident, as confirmed by ABC 7 Eyewitness News.

As part of the stunt, Sweeney and her team draped a lingerie clothesline over the famous sign, transforming it into a whimsical display suspended high in the sky.

When filming concluded, most bras were removed, though four or five remained as quirky mementos.

While TMZ reported that her production company received filming permission from FilmLA, it didn’t extend to the actual owners of the sign.

Sweeney is no stranger to controversy. She recently shared a clip on Instagram that is linked to her new lingerie brand, SYRN.

This venture, backed by Jeff Bezos, is part of the reason she received an invitation to last summer’s high-profile wedding of Bezos and Lauren Sanchez.
