Sydney Sweeney shares her method for losing 30 pounds in under 2 months.

Sydney Sweeney is following a “rigorous” routine that helped her shed 30 pounds in under two months.

In a recent interview, the actress revealed she gained weight for her boxing film, “The Christie,” due to “eating a lot of food.”

To slim down, the 28-year-old halted her workout routine and eliminated all the protein shakes she had been consuming for the role, leading to a loss of the muscle she had built up.

“It’s the first thing you need to do before you gain weight,” she said about her approach. “So it fell within two weeks.”

She mentioned how she used to take a lot of creatine for the role, but it caused her stomach to bloat, prompting her to stop once filming wrapped up.

Her journey to weight loss also involved a “super clean” diet and plenty of cardio to recover her usual slim figure.

Interestingly, Sweeney only had seven weeks before the start of filming for the third seasons of “The Housemaid” and “Euphoria.”

“I had to be really hard on myself,” she stated, reflecting on her experience.

Though she acknowledged the challenges, she expressed gratitude for her “working metabolism.” She noted how being active has always been her norm, stating, “Sometimes I gain weight, but sometimes I lose it.”

Last year, when unrecognizable photos from the set of “Christie” circulated, she faced body shaming online. In response, she shared a powerful video showcasing her intense training regimen.

A source indicated that the physically demanding role has helped Sweeney tap into her inner strength, particularly after experiencing difficult situations in her personal life.

In October, Sweeney announced her role in the biopic, emphasizing her commitment to portraying the story of a remarkable woman who faced challenges both in and out of the boxing ring. Despite the film not performing well at the box office, she reassured her followers, “We don’t always make art just for the numbers, we make it for the impact.”
