Sydney Thomas’ TikTok explodes after Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight

Sydney Thomas, who recently surpassed 1 million followers on TikTok, reintroduced herself to her fans this weekend.

Thomas, a 20-year-old model and student at the University of Alabama, gained attention as the ring girl for the Nov. 15 fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, and has amassed hundreds of thousands of followers.

“We've hit 1 million followers on TikTok!! Words can't express how grateful we are to each and every one of you,” Thomas wrote on his Instagram Story on Sunday. “I love you all, thank you.”

To commemorate this milestone, Thomas posted a “Get to Know Me” video on TikTok, because “there's more to me than what you see” online.

“I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri,” said Thomas, who turns 21 on Tuesday. “I’m still in school, studying business management and entrepreneurship. I’m technically a junior, but I’ll be finishing my first year early in August, so I’m really looking forward to it.

“I am doing all of my classes online to allow me to travel and have more flexibility in my schedule.

Thomas, who also works for the Arizona Cardinals as part of the team's in-game advertising team, also emphasized the importance of not judging a book by its cover.

“Contrary to popular opinion and belief, I'm actually smart. People kind of get the idea that I'm pretty blonde and have no brains. But I got a 33 on the ACT. [exam] I have already graduated from high school and am planning to graduate from college early, so do whatever you want. ”

Outside of work, Thomas spends most of his time taking care of his mind and body.

“I’m very athletic,” she said. “I love health, wellness, fitness, and anything that has to do with improving yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally. I'm all for it. I'm very passionate about self-improvement and am the best at I'm only thinking about becoming who I am.

Thomas added that she doesn't know what she wants to do with her career after college.

After thanking his fans and followers, Thomas said, “So many things have been turned upside down in my life over the past two weeks.” “My path is so different and so unique that I'm just taking it day by day. I'm not really stressing about the future.”

Thomas joined Paul's Most Valuable Promotions this year as a ring girl.

The YouTube personality's unanimous decision victory over Tyson was his second fight to win MVP.
