Sylvester Stallone Embraces Florida Life After Leaving Hollywood
Sylvester Stallone has expressed contentment with his choice to leave Hollywood behind for a quieter life in Florida. In a recent conversation, the star of “Tulsa King” shared that he finds the Florida lifestyle to be significantly more aligned with his preferences than his previous life in Los Angeles.
“I absolutely love it here,” Stallone remarked about Florida. He noted that the fresh air and proximity to water bring him and his wife, Jennifer Flavin, a great deal of happiness. “It’s really nice,” he added, reflecting on how the environment suits him better than California ever did.
The couple made headlines in 2024 when they officially decided to leave California for good. During the premiere of a reality series, Stallone noted, “After some serious thought, we realized it was time to move on.” This decision comes amidst the changes in their family dynamics, as their daughters have all relocated to the East Coast.
“Whenever you alter your usual surroundings, it can spark a creative revival,” Stallone explained, emphasizing that the move was not solely about finding a picturesque view.
Flavin also shared insights on their relocation, mentioning that many friends and family have moved away from California. “It just made sense for us. Sometimes, you need a change to start fresh. I am really enjoying this new lifestyle,” she said.
Stallone’s home in Palm Beach, boasting around 1.5 acres with scenic beach access, represents a significant life change for the family. At a special event celebrating “Rocky Day” in December 2023, Flavin reflected on her roots in Florida, indicating that nostalgia played a role in their decision. “It’s a good change, new adventures, and I’m truly happy here,” she remarked.
Interestingly, Flavin pointed out that their move to Florida was not prompted by issues like crime rates, which she acknowledged can be found everywhere. “I love California, it’s gorgeous, but I felt it was just time for a new chapter in our lives,” she said.
As Stallone prepares for the upcoming third season of “Tulsa King,” he sees this new environment as an opportunity to express himself more authentically. “This role is as close as I get to showing who I really am,” he noted, hinting at a deeper connection with the character.
The new season of “Tulsa King” is set to premiere on September 21st on Paramount+, and Stallone seems excited about what lies ahead in both his personal life and career.
