Theo Johnson can be QB-friendly tight end that Giants need

I was standing in the middle of the Giants’ practice field after another muggy practice, looking up and staring at 6-foot-6, 259-pound Theo Johnson. He’s a freshman tight end out of Penn State who is bigger than Mark Bavaro and Jeremy Shockey, and Daniel Jones must be dreaming for a while that Johnson can be […]

Brian Burns wows in Giants training camp with insane spin move

Observations from Giants camp on Friday, August 2nd. It caught my eye Edge Brian Barnes put a nice spin move on RT Jermaine El-Emno and, had the tackle been allowed, would have gotten a fourth-down sack (one of multiple on the day) to end the ball-moving period. The play continued and Jones scrambled to fire […]

Giants’ Daniel Jones puts together best day of training camp yet

Observations from Thursday’s Giants training camp practice. Great dive! Alex Johnson, an undrafted rookie cornerback out of UCLA, will line up at safety during this camp. What inspires some is cause for concern for others. So when rookie wide receiver Malik Neighbors broke free on a scorching […]

Goodrich, 24, went undrafted out of Clemson University but was teammates with Giants defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence in 2018. Goodrich spent the 2022 season on the practice squad before appearing in four […]

Giants only concerned about meeting own high expectations

Expectations in the NFL are like a volatile roller coaster. When you meet or exceed expectations, it’s exhilarating. When things aren’t so easy, it’s upsetting. When Brian Daboll took over as Giants head coach in 2022 to replace Joe Judge, the team was in the midst of five consecutive struggling seasons, winning just 22 games […]
