Pulitzer winner N. Scott Momaday, pioneer Native American literature, dead at 89

Scott Momaday, the Pulitzer Prize-winning storyteller, poet, educator, and folklorist whose debut novel House of Dawn is widely regarded as the starting point for modern Native American literature, has died.
