Scientists discover massive cave on moon that could be used to shelter astronauts
An Italian-led team of scientists says they have found evidence of a sizable cavern not far from where Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon 55 years ago. The cave is located in the Sea of Tranquility, just 250 miles from the landing site of Apollo 11. Researchers believe there are hundreds more […]
Reviving The Woolly Mammoth? Scientists Just Got A Huge Step Closer
Chromosomes found in a 52,000-year-old freeze-dried woolly mammoth may help scientists determine its genetic code, a June study revealed. The first-of-its-kind research published in the journal Cell is an enormous step forward in sequencing a complete woolly mammoth genome, bringing the long-extinct beast closer to revival. “Until now, we could only read small fragments of […]

Our Dystopian Overlords Just Created Something Scientists Say Is ‘Too Dangerous To Release’
Analysis released Wednesday by LiveScience detailed how a new Microsoft invention is apparently “too dangerous to release” to the public. Microsoft’s artificial intelligence innovation VALL-E 2 can allegedly recreate human voices so convincingly, from just a few seconds of audio, according to a paper published on the pre-print arXiv server, analyzed by LiveScience. Artificial intelligence scientists developing tools to decode what your dog’s barks mean
Ann Arbor, Michigan Researchers at the University of Michigan are investigating how artificial intelligence techniques can be used to understand dog communication. Scientists are developing tools to distinguish whether a dog’s barking is playful or aggressive, and hope to glean more information from the dog’s barks, such as age, breed and sex. “By using a […]
CRAZY: Scientists invent ‘anti-gravity’ device that could
A scientist named Charles Buehler claims that he and a group of scientists and engineers have developed a device that defies the laws of physics in that it can move on its own without the need for propellant. Buehler, co-founder of Exodus Propulsion Technologies and a NASA electrostatic expert, said his team has been researching […]
