Tamar Braxton’s Mysterious Accident Leaves Her Injured

Tamar Braxton has shared a startling experience where she woke up in a pool of blood, having suffered a broken nose and missing teeth due to a mysterious accident.

“I struggled to write this, but I’ve been overwhelmed with calls, and honestly, my ability to talk has diminished,” she said.

“I nearly died on Sunday. A friend found me in a pool of blood after I had endured a facial injury. As time went on, I broke my nose, lost teeth, and my ability to move around.”

Braxton, now 48, expressed her changed perspective on life, stating, “The way I see life now is completely different. My spiritual journey is just beginning as I work on my health… I’m asking for prayers for the truth.”

“I’m really not sure what happened to me,” she added.

Her representative was unavailable for comment at this time.

In another Instagram post, she expressed gratitude, saying, “Thank you for awakening me today,” and included an image of a biblical poem, Proverbs 31.

Braxton has also promoted new pre-recorded episodes of her series “Catch in the Act,” set to air on MTV soon.

This isn’t the first time she’s experienced health issues. Last December, she was hospitalized with severe flu-like symptoms, fearing she might not make it through. “I thought God was taking me home because I couldn’t breathe,” she recalled in a past social media post. She received various medications and described her illness as “worse than COVID.”

In June 2021, she spoke openly about her mental health struggles, including a suicide attempt in 2020, revealing how dark and heavy that time had been for her. “I didn’t know how I would come out the other side,” she said, reflecting on her journey.

At that point in her life, she was at home with her son Logan, who is now 11, and her then-boyfriend David Adefeso.

Braxton also shared that she had been sexually assaulted as a child.

Currently, she is single, having previously been engaged to Jeremy “Jr” Robinson. They became engaged in March 2023 but later parted ways. Braxton mentioned she’s been single for about a year now and has decided not to date until her son is older, stating, “I don’t want to bring another man into his life and fail.”

The musician shares Logan with her ex-husband Vincent Herbert, whom she was married to from 2008 to 2019. She was also married to Darrell “Delit” Arumbee from 2001 to 2003.
