Tara Leigh Cobble of ‘The Bible Recap’ Podcast Says Reading the Entire Bible Transformed Her Life

Tara Lee Coble, author and host of the podcast The Bible Recap, recently shared how reading the entire Bible changed her life, and she encouraged her fellow believers to do the same. He said he encouraged them to do so.

Despite growing up in a Christian household, Cobble admitted that he had no interest in reading God’s Word until his pastor encouraged him to read it cover to cover. As a result, she shared how her experience changed her understanding of the Bible and deepened her love for the Lord.

“I fell in love with God through His Word,” Cobble said. CBN News in recent interviews. “So what I always knew and admired and respected and knew to be true, then I fell in love with.”

Ms. Cobble did not like reading the Bible when she first finished it, but her pastor encouraged her to read it again. But this time, she realized that she needed to read the Bible in terms of who God is, not just what God can give her.

“What I was looking for was the character and character of God, not to-do lists or precepts or action steps or application points. The Bible is not about me. It’s for me. It’s not about me. The Bible isn’t about me. It’s about God. It’s about who God is,” she explained.

In 2019, she launched the podcast “The Bible Recap,” offering listeners a chronological reading of one year’s worth of the Bible with commentary from Cobble. The podcast has been downloaded over 300 million times since its inception and recently became the #1 podcast in all categories on Apple Podcasts.

“We are amazed at how people want to read, understand and love God’s Word and find this resource helpful to them,” Coble said.

“My prayer when I started was that 300 people would do it with me,” she added. “In other words, Ephesians 3:20 Reconsider “More than you can ask or expect.” ”

Her podcast currently reaches listeners in at least 200 countries.

“This is just word of mouth, and clearly the Spirit of God is doing something in a community where people find joy in God’s Word and can’t stop talking about it.”

In addition to his podcast, Cobble has published books including:Bible Summary: A year-long guide to reading and understanding the entire Bible.” in 2020.
