Ron Ely, who starred in “Tarzan,” has passed away.
The actor has died at the age of 86, his daughter confirmed to Fox News Digital.
“The world has lost one of the greatest people it has ever known, and I have lost my father,” his daughter Kirsten said in a statement. “My father was what people called a hero. He was an actor, author, coach, mentor, family man, and leader. He created a powerful wave of positive influence wherever he went. There was something truly magical about him that I never saw in other people. This is how the world knew him. ”
“I knew him as a father, and what a divine honor that was. To me, he hung the moon.”
