noNude makeup is super chic for this time of year, but everyone is different, and when nude lipstick shows up on Google as a weird chalky or greyish pink, it makes most people's lips look dead or silly, or both. Nude makeup is essentially makeup that suits your skin tone, so don't be afraid to try anything from warm pinks to deep browns. Use it all over your lips and eyes and you'll be ready for fall.

Must-have… A popular, comfortable, silky, aluminum-free deodorant
What deodorant do you use? Is this a weird question? Maybe. I thought the same when I was asked. Actually, it wasn't so much a question as a dismay at what I was spraying under my arms at the time. I was happy to use whatever I could get my hands on, but I started to get lumps under my arms. This reaction wasn't a cause for concern, but the health concerns about aluminum in deodorants made me rethink what I was putting under my arms. I looked for options within the natural deodorant category, but found them to be ugly and useless. Most were ineffective and best avoided. Recently, there has been a wave of deodorants that push the boundaries of what is natural and aluminum-free. And many of them smell just as good as a great perfume. Case in point: Polygonum Roll On Deodorant by To My Ships. This is a great product. Not only does it keep sweat under control (sorry, I know that sounds gross), but it feels like underarm skin care. It soothes and protects the skin barrier and is gentle enough to be used on sensitive or shaved underarms. It also has a beautiful green citrus scent and comes in a spray. I'm so obsessed with it that the mundane act of applying deodorant has now become a daily pleasure. So again, what deodorant do you use? It might be worth a change.
