Taxi slams into multiple pedestrians outside NYC Macy’s on Christmas Day

A taxi driver with a possible medical episode struck multiple pedestrians, including a 9-year-old boy, in Herald Square on Wednesday afternoon, police and sources said.

Police said the Christmas Day disturbance occurred outside the Macy's store at 34th Street and Sixth Avenue just after 4 p.m.

Six victims were injured, two were taken to Weill Cornell Medical Center and one was taken to Bellevue Hospital.
