A week after tying the knot at Madison Square Garden, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made their first public appearance together. On Friday, they were spotted attending the wedding of Kelsea’s former teammates, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Laura Crook, as seen in various photos that surfaced.
Swift dazzled in a strapless, floor-length gown adorned with a floral brocade design, complemented by her signature red lips. Kelce opted for a classic suit and tie, fitting for the occasion.
During the ceremony, the couple sat next to Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany. This marked the first public sighting of Swift and Kelce since their wedding, although some details about the event leaked shortly after it occurred.
In a now-deleted post, AMC Theaters CEO Adam Aaron described the wedding, noting how it transformed the venue. He felt it didn’t resemble Madison Square Garden at all, mentioning that the decor featured peach and white, with pictures of Taylor and Travis displayed chronologically from their childhoods through their teenage years.
He further explained that the wedding setup mimicked an outdoor garden, a stark contrast to the usual sports events held at MSG. Around a thousand guests were in attendance, which surprisingly felt intimate due to the arrangement which included greenery, white decor, and tightly arranged seating.
Before the ceremony began, a gentle romantic song played, setting the mood, with performances from a violin and cello marking the start of the proceedings.
According to Aaron, Kelce donned a white tuxedo while Swift wore a stunning white gown, complete with a long veil. There wasn’t a traditional bridal party; instead, Swift’s brother, Austin, served as her “man of honor,” and Kelsey’s brother, Jason, was her chaperone. Jason’s daughters served as flower girls, adding a family touch to the event.
Overall, the atmosphere was described as joyful and heartwarming, with a strong display of love between the couple evident throughout the ceremony. Aaron expressed his wish for everyone to have experienced the genuine joy he felt at the celebration.
