Tony Dungy thinks Taylor Swift is a bad influence on the NFL.
The Hall of Fame coach, who is now an analyst for NBC, was asked about polls showing less than 25 percent of Gen Z consider themselves “avid sports fans.”
“I think we'll always do sports in some form or fashion,” Dungey told Fox News. “Some people get disillusioned with it.”
Dungy was then asked about Taylor Swift, whose romance with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has taken the NFL by storm.
“That's what's disillusioning people from the sport right now,” Dungey said. “There's a lot of outside stuff coming in. The entertainment value and all that stuff is taking away from what's actually happening on the field.”
Swift will be at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday night when Kelce's Chiefs host the Dolphins in the wild-card round, where temperatures could be at historic lows during the game.
The Grammy Award-winning singer has been a fixture at Chiefs games this season, drawing a lot of attention during the broadcast.
Thursday's Page Six reported that Kelce and Swift: planning to get engaged this summer.
The defending Super Bowl champions struggled in the second half of the season, losing five of their last 10 games.
Kelce was among them, opting to sit out the team's final regular-season game and failing to reach 1,000 receiving yards for the first time since 2015.
Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes was visibly frustrated at times and was seen blaming both the referees and his teammates.

“We're playing a lot of big games, some short rest games, some night games, so that experience will be helpful,” Mahomes said earlier this week. “A lot of guys on this team have done that, so it's a little bit of a smaller step up going into the playoffs because we've had games like this.
“We can rely on our experience to be the best team.”
