Taylor Swift is not considering touring again: 'I'm tired'

Even someone like Taylor Swift needs a little downtime.

During her promotion for the new album, *The Life of a Showgirl*, on Friday, the 35-year-old singer made it clear that a tour wasn’t in her immediate plans.

“No,” Swift responded when BBC Radio 1’s Greg James inquired about her touring plans.

“Honestly, I’m really tired,” she elaborated. “When you think about hitting the road again, do you really want to?”

Swift recently wrapped up a historic ERAS tour that lasted 21 months, from March 2023 to December 2024. She performed 149 shows across five continents, 21 countries, and 51 cities.

The Grammy winner took in over $2 billion in ticket sales during the ERAS tour, making it the most lucrative tour ever.

“I genuinely had a blast on that tour,” Swift shared with BBC Radio 1. “From the stage, I could see the entire crowd. People might not realize that. I had a unique perspective—I could see far into the crowd. I witnessed their joy and experiences, which, even on my most exhausted days, fueled me.”

Reflecting on the tour, she added, “It really immersed me in an experience. It was two years straight with hardly any other pastimes. So now, I’m enjoying revisiting my hobbies.”

On the August *New Heights* podcast with her fiancé, Travis Kelce, Swift expressed a sense of longing for that fan connection.

“I miss it, but I think it had its perfect moment,” she confessed. “I miss the fans and that bond we shared. It was such a pivotal time in my life with lofty goals I wanted to achieve.”

Throughout the ERAS tour, she showcased songs from her first 11 albums.

Her latest album, released on Friday, includes 12 tracks, with contributions from her close friend, Sabrina Carpenter.

“The best part is that it reflects my life right now,” Swift explained, adding that music often encapsulates her current experiences. “I think this album truly captures what my life looks like at this moment.”
