There wasn't any island breeze keeping Taylor Swift cool at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.
The 34-year-old pop superstar was seen fanning herself as she watched the AFC showdown between the Chiefs and Bengals in a suite, sipping from a cup featuring boyfriend Travis Kelce's jersey number, 87, as temperatures soared near 90 degrees.
Swift arrived at the venue in the early afternoon wearing an oversized Chiefs top and Giuseppe Zanotti heeled boots, similar to the style she wore to Kansas City's season opener.
The Bengals led the Chiefs 16-10 at halftime.
It's been an eventful week for Swift, who attended the MTV Video Music Awards in New York just a few days ago, where she took home seven awards, including Video of the Year for “Fortnite.”
singer Kelsey, 34, expressed her gratitude in her acceptance speech..
“I could always hear someone cheering from the other side of the studio. [the music video]” said Swift.
“And one of those people was my boyfriend, Travis. Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic. I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot because I'll never forget it.”
Kelce, in his 12th season with the Chiefs, spent last weekend in New York with Swift following Kansas City's season-opening win over the Ravens on Thursday, Sept. 5.
The couple attended the U.S. Open men's final with Chiefs teammate quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes.
Swift attended 13 Chiefs games last season, including an overtime win over the 49ers in February.
The 14-time Grammy Award winner is currently on hiatus from her hit Eraser tour, having completed a European tour in August.
Performances are due to resume in North America next month and finish in December.
Swift and Kelsey have been dating for over a year.
